Reception Year Teacher
Job description
This school is seeking a caring, adaptable, and energetic Reception Teacher to join an Early Years team on a supply basis. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher who enjoys working in early childhood education and can deliver engaging and supportive teaching in a flexible capacity. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as Reception Year Teacher:
Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Create a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that supports every child’s development
Adapt quickly to established classroom routines and expectations
Work closely with teaching assistants and Early Years staff to support pupil learning and wellbeing
Maintain accurate and timely records of children's learning, where applicable
Ensure safeguarding policies are consistently followed
Communicate effectively with school staff and leadership to ensure continuity and a positive learning experience
Ideal Reception Year Teacher:
Hold QTS and have experience teaching in EYFS (Reception year essential)
Demonstrate excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early child development
Be confident in managing classroom routines and responding to the needs of young learners as a Reception Year Teacher.
Be flexible, reliable and able to build rapport with children and staff quickly
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and child safeguarding
