Reception Year Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting January 2026

Duties as Reception Year Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework
Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment
Assess and monitor pupil progress, maintaining accurate records
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to meet individual needs
Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support home learning
Uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times

Ideal Reception Year Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in Early Years or Reception
Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
