Are you passionate about helping young people explore life’s big questions?
We are seeking a thoughtful and inspiring Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a dedicated Humanities team at a supportive and inclusive secondary school.
This is an excellent opportunity to teach RE at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for KS5 depending on experience. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Religious Education Teacher:
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons that promote tolerance, reflection, and critical thinking.
Teach a broad and balanced curriculum that explores world religions, ethical issues, and philosophy.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing tailored feedback and support.
Encourage open-mindedness, respect, and discussion in the classroom.
Contribute to school life through assemblies, cross-curricular activities, and pastoral support.
Ideal Religious Education Teacher:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Have a degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject.
Be confident teaching RE at KS3 and KS4.
Promote a respectful and inclusive classroom environment as a Religious Education Teacher.
Be committed to developing students' understanding of global beliefs and values.
