School Administrator
Job description
We are looking for a friendly, organised, and efficient School Administrator to join a dedicated team in August 2025.
Duties as School Administrator:
Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school office.
Act as a first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff, and visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome.
Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle enquiries efficiently.
Maintain accurate pupil records, including admissions, attendance, and safeguarding information.
Assist with organising school communications, letters, and newsletters.
Support the administration of school events, meetings, and trips.
Process incoming and outgoing post.
Carry out general clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, and data entry.
Assist with maintaining school supplies and resources.
Uphold confidentiality and adhere to data protection and safeguarding policies at all times.
Ideal School Administrator:
Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a school or educational setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as School Administrator.
Strong IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office and school MIS (desirable).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
A positive, flexible attitude and a commitment to teamwork.
