Science Teacher
Job description
Step Teachers are looking for an experienced KS3/KS4 Science Teacher based in an academy en route to Great Yarmouth to start in September 2022. This is a 4-month long-term temporary contract.
The Academy is specialised in Science and has dedicated staff who have a passion to teach engaging lessons. The role itself will be half KS3 general science and the rest KS4 Physics.
Role:
Strong Science curriculum knowledge at KS3 & KS4
Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable
Ability to assess and report on your students when required
Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively
Requirements:
Hold QTS or the equivalent of
Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Science
Relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
