​Step Teachers are looking for an experienced KS3/KS4 Science Teacher based in an academy en route to Great Yarmouth to start in September 2022. This is a 4-month long-term temporary contract.

The Academy is specialised in Science and has dedicated staff who have a passion to teach engaging lessons. The role itself will be half KS3 general science and the rest KS4 Physics.

Role:

  • Strong Science curriculum knowledge at KS3 & KS4

  • Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

  • Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

  • Ability to assess and report on your students when required

  • Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or the equivalent of

  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Science

  • Relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
