Job description

Step Teachers is looking for a Science Teacher to join a coastal school on the Norfolk Coast 3 days a week Wednesday to Friday starting ASAP.

The school is a “Good” Ofsted-rated school whose students make good progress and attain well with students often making outstanding progress. The headteacher provides outstanding leadership and has significantly improved teaching and achievement 

Key Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons in General Science to a diverse range of students.
  • Adhering to the school's curriculum and teaching standards.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Providing constructive feedback to students.

Requirements of a Science Teacher:

  • Qualified teacher status
  • Degree in General Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching General Science at the secondary level.
  • A General Science Teacher with strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
