Job description

Step Teachers are seeking Secondary Supply Teachers to join our pool of daily supply staff for schools in and around Woodstock, starting as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible day-to-day work across a range of secondary schools. You’ll be delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher.

Duties as a Secondary Supply Teacher:

 

  • Deliver set lessons across various subjects at KS3 and KS4

  • Manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment

  • Support students’ learning and engagement

  • Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

Ideal Secondary Supply Teacher:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Secondary Supply Teacher.

  • Reliability, flexibility, and professionalism
