 Step Teachers are working closely with a school in Romford to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Class Teacher to join their passionate team. This temporary SEN Class Teacher role is subject to start in ASAP with the opportunity of a permanent contract.

SEN Class Teacher role

  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Create and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student, collaborating with parents, support staff, and other professionals as necessary.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of all students.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and regularly monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure optimal learning outcomes.

SEN Class Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Proven experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of various learning styles and the ability to differentiate instruction accordingly.
