Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for us to recruit a talented SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time position at one of our client schools in Stanmore. This position of a SEN TA is offered through Step Teachers and will commence at September.

As an SEN TA you must display the skills listed below;

  • Highly effective communication skills with both children and adults, including parents/carers is seen as a key area of focus.
  • You will have a good understanding of Special Educational Needs and Educational Inclusion, and the needs of the more able and talented.
  • You should be committed and flexible, able to work directly with the SENCO and with LSAs as required.
  • You must display an air of resilience, creativity and adaptability toward individual learning
