At this vibrant school, they are seeking a committed SEN Teacher to support pupils with a range of additional needs, ensuring they thrive both academically and emotionally. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children who need tailored approaches to learning in a nurturing and supportive environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a SEN Teacher:
Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching to pupils with SEND (including EHCPs and those with additional learning needs)
Plan, assess and adapt learning to meet individual education and behavioural targets
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom that promotes independence and confidence
Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, external agencies, and families
Monitor and report on progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records
Contribute to annual reviews, IEPs and multi-agency meetings as required
Promote emotional well-being and a positive attitude towards learning
Ideal SEN Teacher:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience or a strong interest in working with children with SEND
Understands the graduated approach to SEN support
Uses creative and flexible teaching strategies to engage diverse learners
Demonstrates strong communication, empathy and teamwork skills as a SEN Teacher.
