SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored learning support, helping each child to reach their full potential. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.

• Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.

• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.

• Liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals.

Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Experience supporting children with SEN (preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

• Patience, empathy, and a caring approach.
