Job description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school community. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, tailored education to pupils with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they are supported to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. Starting September 2025.
Duties as SEND Teacher:
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet a variety of learning needs.
Use EHCPs to guide personalised learning and support plans.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and families.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records.
Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes independence and self-esteem.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its inclusive ethos.
Ideal SEND Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience working with children with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and/or complex learning needs.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills as a SEND Teacher.
Patient, flexible and committed to supporting all learners.
Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
