SEND Teacher – Part-time, long-term position (4 days a week) from November 2025 until Easter 2026

We are seeking a passionate SEND Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school community. Duties as SEND Teacher:

Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to pupils with severe learning difficulties
Plan and implement individualised learning programmes
Work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed
Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Communicate effectively with families and carers
Contribute to the wider school community and attend relevant meetings and training

Ideal SEND Teacher:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Specialises in SEND education, particularly severe learning difficulties
Experience working in SEND settings or with pupils with complex needs
Strong understanding of differentiation and personalised learning
Skilled in managing challenging behaviour with empathy and consistency
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
