SEND Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from as soon as possible

This is an excellent opportunity for a SEND Teacher to join a school that prioritises inclusion and pupil well-being. Staff work collaboratively to ensure high-quality teaching and tailored support for every child.

Duties as SEND Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons for pupils with SEND across appropriate key stages
Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet individual learning needs
Work closely with support staff and other professionals to implement personalised learning plans
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to parents and colleagues
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence
Ensure safeguarding and well-being practices are consistently applied
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required

Ideal SEND Teacher:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Previous experience teaching pupils with SEND in a school setting
Strong understanding of strategies to support diverse learning needs
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing requirements
Committed to promoting inclusion and safeguarding children
