SEND Teacher – Full-time, long-term roles starting as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for SEND Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

Duties as SEND Teacher:

Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Support pupils with a range of SEND including SEMH, ASD, MLD and SLD
Create a safe, inclusive and structured learning environment
Collaborate with support staff, SENCOs and external professionals
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently

Ideal SEND Teacher:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching in SEND or inclusive secondary settings
Demonstrates strong understanding of SEND strategies and EHCPs
Is patient, resilient and committed to pupil development
Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
