Sociology and Politics Teacher
Job description
A secondary school located in Barnet is looking for a Sociology and Politics teacher to join their team from September 2022. This role will include teaching Sociology to KS4/5 and Politics to KS5. This is a part-time role on a 0.6 timetable, and for the right candidate, the school is willing to offer this role on a permanent basis.
As an experienced teacher, you will:
Hold PGCE or BEd with QTS/QTLS
Ideally have a degree in Sociology or politics
Be able to display a detailed knowledge of the sociology and/or politics curriculum
Experience delivering either subject to KS4/5 students
Successfully be able to manage learning development projects
Be responsible and accountable for securing the highest standards of pupil achievement across the phrase group
Salary
Outer London – MPS/UPS - £29,915 - £45,766 Per Annum, Pro Rata
