Supply Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. Supply Teachers support learning continuity during staff absences, helping maintain calm routines, positive behaviour, and productive classroom environments.

Duties as Supply Teacher:

Deliver pre‑prepared lessons across a range of year groups and subjects
Maintain positive behaviour and consistent classroom routines
Support pupils’ learning through clear explanations and encouragement
Adapt teaching approaches to suit different classes and individual needs
Provide verbal feedback to pupils during lessons
Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies
Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure smooth daily operations

Ideal Supply Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Confident teaching across KS1 and KS2
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond to changing needs quickly
Good communication and organisational abilities
Proactive, reliable, and committed to supporting pupil progress
Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
