Supply Teaching Assistants

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to support a range of schools in Norfolk. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy flexible working and want to gain varied experience across different settings, starting November 2025.

Duties as Supply Teaching Assistant:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.

• Provide individual or small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.

• Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive and safe learning environment.

• Help with setting up resources, displays and daily routines.

• Encourage pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.

Ideal Supply Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.

• A positive, proactive and flexible attitude.

• Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.

• Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable but not essential as Teaching Assistant.

• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
