Step Teachers have been given an opportunity by a College in Ely who are seeking a part time Art Teacher.  This part time position is offered for the summer term and applications are welcome from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) as well as those with more experience.  The Art teacher role will be based on a 0.4 contract where the ideal candidate will be available on a Monday and Tuesday.

About the Art Teacher

  • You will be a fully qualified Art Teacher with a related degree, a PGCE with QTS
  • At the heart of everything you do, will be your passion for your subject and the desire to inspire and motivate pupils to excel 
  • You will have schemes of work that are creative, varied and flexible enough to promote differentiation, and commitment to pupil progression.
  • You should understand the value of target setting as an aid to raising standards and improving attainment and achievement
