Job description

A fantastic secondary school in Bungay is seeking to recruit an outstanding design technology teacher, the school would like the right candidate to start as soon as possible and the role will be on-going. It would be most suited to a design technology teacher who can demonstrate comprehensive experience and excellent references. 

What our ideal candidate looks like;

  • As a qualified secondary teacher, you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven ability to understand and utilise current theory and practice in relation to learning and development. 
  • You will have experience of planning and teaching design technology in a mainstream school setting in the UK
  • Ideally, the selected Design Technology teacher will have an undergraduate degree from a United Kingdom university at 2:1 or above.

The pupils are well behaved and generally well supported in their studies at home and this is demonstrated by their progression through the School. Ofsted most recently graded them Good.

Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer, and eligibility to work in the UK.
