Step Teachers are currently looking to recruit an adaptable and experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to work in a school which has received a good in their Ofsted report. Located in the Barnet area to be succesful in this role ideally you will have previous and recent experience within the classroom as a Primary Teaching Assistant, but if you are newly qualified you could be considered.

  • It is essential that applicants hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, additional supporting qualifications are appreciated but not required.  The school aims to create a welcoming, happy safe and secure  environment.  Pupils are taught the importance of moral values and they expect high behaviour levels.
  • The client is looking for a candidate with experience they can directly apply to the role.
  • Applicants must be able to work as part of a small team, good communication and teamwork would be great traits to have.
  • You should be passionate about providing the best possible support to pupils, and be motivated by the rewarding work that being a Teaching Assistant involves
