Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive and wants to play an important role in the classroom. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

• Support pupils’ learning across the curriculum, individually and in small groups

• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management

• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

• Provide additional support to pupils with special educational needs, where required

• Contribute to the assessment and recording of pupil progress

• Support the school in its commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting

• A positive, patient, and adaptable approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills as a Teaching Assistant.

• A genuine interest in education and child development

• A commitment to upholding the school’s values and promoting inclusion
