Teaching Assistant Specification
Successful Primary Teaching Assistants will need to be energetic and enthusiastic towards their craft. We will want to see drive and clear understanding on how best to get the most out of students that are on the autistic spectrum. The school wants to recruit someone who is willing to work with groups of students and has a wealth of experience behind them.
About the Primary Teaching Assistant Role
This Primary Teaching Assistant role is based in fantastic and eager year 2 class. This is fulltime role that will go on to the end of the academic year and then offer a permeant contact for September 2019, subject to performance. You will be responsible for coordinating educational activities that will contribute to their language, social and personal skills of young boy with autism. You need to have a strong grasp of the KS1 curriculum, and be able to translate that on to the students.
