Job description

Step Teachers currently have an opportunity for a Welfare Assistant based in North West London at a primary school upholding a ‘Good’ Ofsted status report. This is a Full-time, Day to Day position ready for the correct candidate to start in the New Year!

The Welfare Assistant will have to tend to the Children in Reception/Year 1.

The School has asked for a proficient Welfare Assistant that has the following attributes:

  • NEEDS to be First Aid Trained with experience of working in Welfare in mainstream primary school.
  • You should be committed and flexible, able to work directly with staff as required.
  • It is very important that you have a sound understanding of good practice in Welfare.
  • Highly effective communication skills with both children and adults, including parents/carers, are seen as a key area of focus.
