Job description

We're seeking a Year 1 class teacher to work in a school in Brandon on a long-term supply basis  This vacancy is a part-time position covering a teacher on maternity leave. and will commence in November 2021.  It is fully expected that this role will be for a minimum of 2 terms.   The days required for this part-time role will be Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Our ideal candidate will have the below attributes;

  • As a qualified primary teacher, you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven ability to understand and utilise current theory and practice in relation to learning and development. 
  • You should have a teaching qualification suitable for primary education. 
  • An ability to organise, lead, and manage a classroom effectively, including assigned support staff will be central to your role. 
  • Establish good relationships, encourage good working practices, and support and lead teachers in the phase group.
