Our team is working with a client school that is seeking a year1/2 class teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be covering a teacher who is due to go on maternity leave. This will be a full-time role commencing in September 2021. This opportunity is offered through Step Teachers, where the successful applicant will be an experienced primary teacher who has successfully completed their induction year and can demonstrate previous experience of teaching/working with a year 1 class.
Our ideal candidate will have the below attributes;
- As a qualified primary teacher, you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven ability to understand and utilise current theory and practice in relation to learning and development.
- You should have a teaching qualification suitable for primary education.
- An ability to organise, lead and manage a classroom effectively, including assigned support staff will be central to your role.
- Establish good relationships, encourage good working practices, and support and lead teachers in the phase group.
Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer, and eligibility to work in the UK.
