Step Teachers have been asked by an Ofsted rated school holding “Good” status to source an experienced and creative Teaching Assistant for a full-time role. This role is working 1-1 with a child with ASD in a year 1 class. The successful candidate must be available for an immediate trial day.

The successful candidate should have the following attributes:

• CACHE Level 2 or higher qualification is desirable
• KS1 experience in a mainstream school
• Experience working with ASD
• Able to assist with pupil development with positive results
• Calm and patient demeanour

Working through our Guaranteed Pay Scheme (GPS), you will be available for work exclusively with Step Teachers Monday - Friday within the area of your local office. Relevant qualifications for your tier will be required. You will need to supply a Paid for Enhanced Child Workforce DBS that is on the Update Service. Alternatively, a DBS can be processed by Step Teachers upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of £55.
