Year 2/3 Teacher – Long-term and ongoing basis, Part-time, starting as soon as possible
This part-time Year 2/3 Teacher role begins as soon as possible and offers a rewarding opportunity to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school. Duties as Year 2/3 Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 and lower KS2 curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to support learning
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers
- Contribute to the wider school community and attend relevant meetings
Ideal Year 2/3 Teacher:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills as a Year 2/3 Teacher
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
