Year 2 Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to cover maternity leave from November 2025 until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension beyond this period.

Duties as a Year 2 Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum.
Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils.
Assess, record, and report on pupil progress and attainment.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
Ideal Year 2 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Year 2 Teacher.
A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
