Year 3 Teacher
Job description
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and creative Year 3 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive team at a wonderful school. This is an exciting opportunity to guide pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2, fostering curiosity, independence and a love of learning.
Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher, we welcome applications from individuals who are committed to making a difference in the classroom. Beginning May 2025.
Duties as a Year 3 Teacher:
Teach a Year 3 class with creativity, energy and high expectations
Plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that supports academic, social and emotional development
Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
Assess and monitor progress, tailoring support to meet the needs of all learners
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment, clubs, and events
Ideal Year 3 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
A nurturing approach and the ability to maintain a calm, inclusive classroom
Excellent subject knowledge, particularly in core subjects
Strong organisation, communication and teamwork skills as a Year 3 Teacher.
A reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development
