Step Teachers are working with a school in Cambridge to find an enthusiastic Year 3 teacher to join their team short-term starting ASAP.

Year 3 Teacher Role:

  • Demonstrate a robust grasp of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
  • Skillfully design and deliver captivating and comprehensive lessons.
  • Maintain a highly organized classroom while ensuring the secure management and storage of all educational materials.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with fellow staff members within the school.
  • Exhibit proficiency in assessing students, monitoring their progress, and providing valuable feedback.
  • Diligently adhere to the school's policies and consistently implement them.

Requirements:

  • Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Bring recent experience from mainstream primary school settings.
  • Showcase exceptional classroom management skills, particularly in effectively addressing student behaviour.
  • Strong knowledge of special education practices, strategies, and resources.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with support staff and parents.
  • Passion and commitment to making a difference in the lives of special needs students.
