Job description
A primary academy based in Norwich has enlisted Step Teachers to help find them an excellent Supply teacher to work with a Year 4 class 5 days per week. This role will be until July 2022 and is due to commence as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
The year 4 teacher must fulfil the following attributes;
- QTS or another recognised teaching qualification
- An exceptional ability to adapt the curriculum to suit the learning capabilities of any given class and a proficiency to work with educational rigour.
- You must comply with the ethos at the school and clearly adhere to the policies the school presents.
- You must encourage pupils to consistently promote a positive demeanour and approach lesson time with creativity.
- You should be able to establish strong relationships with relevant educational parties to ensure the productivity of educational development.
Step Teachers are an agency listed as an approved supplier on the Crown Commercial Service. This is a new framework for schools to use, ensuring they have access to reputable agencies that meet certain safeguarding and recruitment guidelines. The DfE are heavily marketing this service across schools and we would strongly suggest making sure you are registered with a CCS approved agency moving forwards. Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK.
