Year 5 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting February 2026

Duties as Year 5 Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum for Year 5 pupils
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupils
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 2
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
- Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their best
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- A proactive approach to professional development and teamwork
