Year 5 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting February 2026

Duties as Year 5 Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum for Year 5 pupils
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices
Maintain accurate records and contribute to school-wide initiatives
Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupils

Ideal Year 5 Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 2
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their best
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
A proactive approach to professional development and teamwork
