Art and Design Technology Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting as soon as possible

Duties as Art and Design Technology Teacher:
- Teach Art and Design Technology across relevant year groups
- Deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
- Support pupils in developing creativity, technical skills, and problem‑solving
- Maintain a safe, organised practical classroom or workshop environment
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs
- Assess pupil understanding and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
- Promote positive behaviour and consistent routines
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal Art and Design Technology Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Art and/or Design Technology
- Strong subject knowledge in practical and creative disciplines
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate learners of mixed abilities
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Reflective, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil progress
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting well‑being
