We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join a dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about inspiring students to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills. Beginning September 2025.
Art Teacher Duties:
Plan and deliver engaging art lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
Develop schemes of work that encourage creativity and critical thinking.
Organise and display students’ artwork within the school and at exhibitions.
Support students in developing their portfolios, where applicable.
Promote an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
Monitor, assess and record student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Contribute to the wider school community through clubs, trips or collaborative projects.
Ideal Art Teacher:
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
A degree in Art, Fine Art or a related discipline.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for art education.
Excellent classroom management skills as an Art Teacher.
The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
