Art Teacher – Full-time, permanent role starting January 2026
This full-time Art Teacher role begins in January 2026 and offers a permanent opportunity in a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school. Duties as Art Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Inspire creativity and critical thinking through a range of artistic media
- Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum and resources
- Support extracurricular activities and school-wide creative initiatives
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning
Ideal Art Teacher:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Art in secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for the arts
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills as an Art Teacher
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Creative, adaptable, and enthusiastic about inspiring young artists
