The role of Art teacher has the potential to develop into a more permanent role in a school that is strongly creative and believe in individual development.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Art and related assessment practice is essential for a role of this nature.
- The appointed Art teacher should motivate, enthuse, excite and challenge students to produce the highest quality work.
- The successful Art teacher should have demonstrable experience and an excellent working knowledge of Assessment for Learning.
- Ideally the selected Art teacher will have an undergraduate Art degree from a United Kingdom university at 2:1 or above.
