Our London branch is working closely with schools in Brent who are seeking cover supervisors to help out their team following the absence of staff members. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate a range of behaviour management strategies. This is an opportunity to carry out D2D Cover work with some of our user schools, offered through Step Teachers.
As a Cover Supervisor you will;
- Ensure the class are on target with the pre-set work
- Manage behaviour in accordance with the schools' behaviour policy
- Deliver feedback to teachers/pastoral staff where necessary
As a Cover Supervisor we require.
- Experience working with young people
- The ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of positive behaviour management
- The desire to positively inspire young people
Our ideal candidate will either be an existing cover supervisor within a school or someone with extensive experience working with secondary aged children, you may even be a qualified teacher looking for a role with less marking and planning commitments.
