Job description

This 'Outstanding' school is extremely proud of their superb record of achievement. They are currently looking for a Design and Technology teacher (with RM or engineering specialism) to join their hardworking and dedicated team of staff and pupils. The role of Design and Technology teacher will commence in March and be offered initially on a temporary basis.

  • As a Design and Technology teacher you should exhibit highly effective time management skills and an ability to meet deadlines and work under sustained pressure.
  • You should have a demonstrable record of commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Ideally the selected Design and Technology teacher will have an undergraduate Design and Technology degree from a United Kingdom university at 2:1 or above.
  • As Design and Technology curriculum leader you will be expected to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, including with pupils, parents and carers, other staff and external agencies.
