Step Teachers currently have an opportunity for Design Technology Specialist seeking fulltime work in North London. The role is a full time, long term supply position, covering a maternity cover exclusively advertised through Step Teachers to start after the October 2020 Half Term.  

The School has asked for a proficient Design Technology Teacher who has the following attributes: 

  • Either a QTS or PGCE Certificate, with experience of working in a mainstream secondary school 
  • Demonstrable Experience of teaching Resistant Materials and Graphic Design to Key Stage 3 and 4. 
  • Passionate about their subject specialism and their ambitions for teaching.
  • The ability to create and plan engaging lessons and implement effective classroom management strategies.
