Drama Teacher

Are you a creative and passionate educator who loves inspiring students through performance? A vibrant secondary school is seeking an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join their performing arts department and bring creativity, confidence, and teamwork to life in the classroom. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as a Drama Teacher:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and inclusive Drama lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
Direct school productions, performances, and extracurricular drama activities.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
Create a safe, positive, and inspiring classroom environment where all students can participate fully.
Collaborate with colleagues to design schemes of work and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
Organise and support trips, workshops, and other enrichment activities linked to Drama.
Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
Ideal Drama Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge and practical experience in Drama and performing arts.
Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities, building their confidence and creativity.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills as a Drama Teacher.
