Step Teachers have an exciting opportunity at a school with a strong work ethic. The role of a Drama Teacher at the school is now available from March and is currently on a temporary basis. However, the school made it clear that exceptional performance is likely to be rewarded with a permanent post. As a Drama Teacher you will be encouraged to maintain the clear expectations of the school and include a positive demeanour in all you do.

  • The appointed Drama teacher should motivate, enthuse, excite and challenge students to produce the highest quality work.
  • The successful Drama teacher should have demonstrable experience and an excellent working knowledge of Assessment for Learning.
  • Ideally the selected Drama teacher will have an undergraduate Drama degree from a United Kingdom university at 2:1 or above.
  • As Drama curriculum leader you will be expected to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, including with pupils, parents and carers, other staff and external agencies.
