Job description

We are looking for a caring, creative, and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive early years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about giving children the very best start in life. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as Early Years Practitioner:

 

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

  • Plan and deliver stimulating and age-appropriate activities to support learning and development.

  • Observe, monitor, and record each child’s progress, sharing this with parents/carers and colleagues.

  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, welcoming, and inclusive.

  • Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a positive and nurturing atmosphere.

Ideal Early Years Practitioner:

 

  • A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.

  • A good understanding of the EYFS framework.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children as Early Years Practitioner.
