English/Drama Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a passionate and versatile English/Drama Teacher to join a school. This exciting role offers the opportunity to inspire students both in the classroom and on stage, fostering creativity, confidence, and a love of language and performance. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as an English/Drama Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English and Drama across KS3 and KS4.
Teach reading, writing, speaking, and performance skills in English and Drama.
Prepare students for examinations, performances, and competitions.
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
Encourage creativity, self-expression, and collaboration through classroom activities and productions.
Contribute to curriculum development, extracurricular clubs, and school performances.
Ideal English/Drama Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in English and Drama.
Ability to engage, motivate, and challenge students of all abilities.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as an English/Drama Teacher.
A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
