Job description

We are seeking a committed and skilled Early Years Practitioner to join a team on a long-term temporary, ongoing basis starting in October 2025.

Duties as an Early Years Practitioner:

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Provide high-quality care and supervision, promoting children’s safety and well-being at all times.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to support children’s learning journeys.

  • Carry out observations and contribute to assessments where appropriate.

  • Uphold safeguarding, health, and safety standards consistently.

 Ideal Early Years Practitioner:

 

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years.

  • Alternatively, significant nursery experience combined with a Teaching Assistant qualification.

  • Paediatric First Aid training (essential).

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
