English Teacher – Day-to-day supply, starting as soon as possible

Duties as an English Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student progress and curriculum planning
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote student well-being
Ideal English Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching English at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language
- Ability to adapt quickly to new classroom environments
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills as an English Teacher
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
