We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic English Teachers for long-term supply roles starting from September 2025. These placements may cover extended staff absences, maternity leave, or vacancies across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available depending on experience).

Duties as English Teacher:

• Teach English Language and Literature to a range of abilities across KS3 and KS4.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.

• Mark and assess student work, providing effective feedback to support progress.

• Establish high expectations for behaviour and learning in the classroom.

• Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school staff.

Ideal English Teacher:

• A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with a specialism in English.

• Experience delivering strong outcomes in a secondary school environment.

• Confident classroom management and the ability to build rapport quickly.

• A flexible, committed, and proactive approach to teaching as an English Teacher.

• Availability to work consistently over a sustained period.
