Job description
This school is looking to appoint a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join a high-performing and creative English department. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to make a real impact on student progress and enjoyment of literature and language. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as an English Teacher:
Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that challenge and inspire.
Supporting student progress through effective feedback and assessment.
Contributing to the development of curriculum and enrichment activities.
Playing an active role in the wider life of the school.
Ideal English Teacher:
Holds QTS (or equivalent) and has a genuine passion for English.
Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and classroom practice.
Has high expectations of all students and a commitment to achievement as a English Teacher.
Is innovative, reflective, and eager to contribute to department initiatives.
Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
