Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a nurturing and inclusive early years setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the learning and development of young children during the most important stage of their education. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a Reception or Nursery class. The role requires creativity, patience and a commitment to providing a stimulating and supportive environment where every child can thrive. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as an EYFS Teacher:

 

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework

  • Support children’s personal, social, emotional, and academic development

  • Carry out regular observations and assessments to inform next steps in learning

  • Work in partnership with parents and carers to support children’s progress

  • Contribute to a positive, safe and well-organised classroom environment

  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times

Ideal EYFS Teacher:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience working in an EYFS setting (either during training or in post)

  • A secure understanding of the EYFS statutory framework

  • A warm, reflective, and child-centred approach to teaching

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills as an EYFS Teacher.

  • A commitment to inclusive practice and ongoing professional development
