We are seeking an experienced and adaptable General Science Teacher for a long-term supply role starting in September 2025. The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting continuity and high standards during an extended staff absence or vacancy.

Duties as General Science Teacher:

• Teach General Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) across KS3 and KS4.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum.

• Mark and assess student work, offering constructive feedback.

• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to departmental tracking.

• Foster a safe and respectful classroom environment that encourages participation and achievement.

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality of delivery.

Ideal General Science Teacher:

• A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with strong subject knowledge in Science.

• Someone experienced in adapting quickly to new environments and building positive relationships with students.

• A confident classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management as a General Science Teacher.

• A reliable, proactive team player with a commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
